TENTACTILE - WEBSITE

Ende 2012 gründeten zwei Kollegen und ich tentactile, ein Designbüro, dass sich mit interaktiven Exponaten und Gestaltung im Raum beschäftigte. Der Name entstand durch die Zusammensetzung von "ten": zehn Finger, und "tactile": tastbar. Das daraus entstehende Kunstwort tentactile erinnerte dabei gewollt an Tentakel, welche ebenfalls greifen. 
Für unsere Webseite erstellten wir eine Illustration, die auf witzige Art und Weise die Erkundung des Neulands, dargestellt durch eine Insel, durch unser Maskottchen tenti zeigt. 
Die Illustration wurde dabei über die nächsten Monate stetig weiter entwickelt, thematisch passendes hinzugefügt und den Jahreszeiten angepasst. 
Mein Fokus lag hierbei auf der Umsetzung der 3D Modelle.

At the end of the year 2012 two colleagues and I founded tentactile, an agency focused on interactive installations and experiences in space. The agency name consists of two pieces: "ten" for the ten fingers at our hands and "tactile" which points to the focus of our works, expanding the normal interaction with a haptic component. 
To strengthen the idea of space exploration we created an illustration for our website. Depicting tenti, our mascot, exploring the new grounds of the just found island.
The illustration evolved over the next months, giving it new themes and adjusting it to the seasons.
The website also switched between day and night, dependant on your locale time. My work was mainly the creation of the 3D art.
